What to Check for When Making a Tattoo

Well, you have my congratulations, you finally found that tattoo design that really fits you and you found the tattoo artist of your dreams. Now it’s the time to get the tattoo itself.

There are a few things you should check for before the tattooing actually begins. I have seen a lot of tattoos with the perfect design that went awfully wrong. The reason? Many shitty tattoo artists don’t know how to calibrate the tattoo gun. This can end up with a “bumpy tattoo”.

Why is this so important you may ask. Just imagine the following scenario. It’s you, alone, drinking your soda in the coolest pub around, when SHE appears, you talk, you show off, you convince. Fast forward… Bedtime, you slowly remove your clothes and you finally get to show your tattoo. SHE almost has an orgasm seeing it. But then when SHE finally touches it a very non sexy, disturbed voice can be heard “What the f**k is wrong with your tattoo?”.

With this in mind please take the time to make sure that the artist doesn’t scar your skin. You should also be aware that red pigment can cause the same effect if you have a sensitive skin, so it is better to avoid it if possible.

Of course there is also the remote possibility that the tattoo artist will get sick of your whining and scar your skin just for the heck of it.
