Football and tattoos
I had a recent discussion with a friend of mine. He asked me what would be the best place to tattoo the logo of a famous football team. My answer came swiftly: the forehead. Confused? I bet.
Why the advice? Well… let me put it this way. When was the last time when you saw a forehead tattoo? If you answered "never" you are closer to the target. There are many, not so bright, or just drunk fellows, who might want to get a tattoo there. The reason for which they don’t get it is the simple fact that almost every single tattoo artists will refuse to tattoo your forehead.
Bottom line is that a football team logo is not exactly the best choice when it comes to tattoos, with of course very few exceptions, please try following checklist:
- Are you a fan for more than 10 years?
- Do you know the name of the goalkeeper who played in March 1994?
- Do you have your own flag with the team logo and colors?
That should do it. If you answered yes to all questions from the above, then go ahead you have my blessing, otherwise tattoo a horsie or something.
One more thing. If you considered my initial advice of actually getting a forehead tattoo you should go see someone friendly, dressed in white and with a psychology degree.
