Chaos in the barracks- Military tattoos

Recent studies show that every real soldier (That excludes wanna bees in the National Guard) who has shot his rifle just once also thought of getting a tattoo. This is a worldwide phenomenon.

Only a few decades ago soldiers would have had stuff like eagles, guns or skulls on their skin. Nowadays due to the recent global developments we are seeing radical new designs.

For example it is very likely that we will see "goats" to remember those brave soldiers and how they have saved a herd in that remote Afghani village, "pigeons" for those missions where they kept some tribes from butchering each other (I know that technically they should be doves, but white shading is very difficult to get).

Cute little kittens are unavailable for soldiers as they were claimed by the firemen.

As weaponry is also changing R2D2 is slowly becoming a fashionable design, followed closely by the infrared goggles. The Kalashnikov design has become truly obsolete, since all those uncool Tadjik soldiers are using it.

On another tone though those really war friendly messages like “Fight to the death” are being replaced with “Try diplomacy, trust your gun” although the variation “Try the gun, trust diplomacy” is gaining momentum.

The US army stands apart from this trend with slogans like “We keep winning, but these damn Iraqis don’t believe us”.

Some people might find this article offending, but hey I was there and paid my dues...did you?
