Will a Tattoo Hurt?
Many times I have seen promising bikers wannabes with a strong desire to become full hardcore bikers desiring that item that would truly establish their status. I’m talking about tattoos of course.
The problem is that all these diehard, booze loving bikers are scared s**tless when it comes to pain. So I have decided to give this lovable community the answers that it craves for.
So do tattoos actually hurt? To put it straight… YES.
Hmm, I bet that this is not exactly what you wanted to hear, but on the other hand you don’t have to despair. If you are expecting an excruciating, hell born pain then you are wrong… most of the times anyway.
You see the pain threshold is very different from one individual to another, so you can’t really know how much it will hurt until you actually try it. Do expect though that the pain will last for hours as tattoos require quite an extensive amount of time to be finished. If by any chance you have a piercing, then you should be aware that the type of pain is consistently different.
With a piercing there is only a sharp, short pain which is over before you can yell “I want my mommy”. The thing is that you must prepare yourself and not give the pain so much attention.
Bite the bullet and face it. It is really not that bad.
