A trip in to the human mind
Why were the tattoos invented?
When you start digging for theories of how tattoos appear you will get quite a few of them. Most of all depend on the researchers.
Imagine the chief researcher, who had steak for breakfast, he will most likely state that tattoos were initially used as camouflage for hunting. This of course contradicts much the other theory proposed by those researchers that have peyote instead of steak and who clearly see tattoos as an ancient form of worshipping, they are pretty much the same bunch who affirmed that ancient populations renounced their nomadic lifestyle so they could cultivate certain plants, which consumed have a rather fuzzy effect.
The third category of researchers are those who keep measuring the pyramids in search of that elusive cosmic candy. They affirm that ancient tattoos were actually at first a way for the alien gods to keep track of the population. They’re still working on this theory though.
Finally there are the hard working researchers who see these tattoos as a form of initiation into the realm of adults.
The truth of course
is completely different. My bet is that it all started with a bunch of
drunk cavemen, who were driving sharp pointy things into the skin of the first
one to go asleep. This might sound rather rudimentary, but I dare you to
find a better theory.
